But in this society, art isn't valued for its power. We're told to compete instead of collaborate; we're told to produce instead of explore; we're told to make a gazillion dollars following a sureproof method, and that making that money should be our goal.

Creative mentorship falls to whatever we can scrounge from an internet search. And those search results mostly give us motivational bullshit, ridiculous costs, and neurotypical expectations.
